Watt protocol (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates a decentralized-finance protocol on the Solana blockchain (the “Protocol”) and website at https://watt.si, including subdomains (the “Site”). We respect your privacy and process as little personal data as possible. The Site uses no cookies or similar trackers.
1. Scope
This Policy explains
which limited data we process,
how and why we process it,
the legal bases we rely on, and
your rights under worldwide laws, including the EU GDPR and the California CPRA.
2. What We Process — and What We Don’t
We collect or receive only three categories of information:
Public blockchain data – your Solana wallet address, on-chain transaction history, token balances.
Voluntary information you send us – e-mail address for newsletters or support, bug-report details, message content.
Technical diagnostics (no cookies) – IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp, referrer URL stored briefly in server logs.
We do not place cookies, directly request KYC documents, or collect biometric, financial (off-chain) or location data. We use a privacy-focused cookieless analytics tool, Plausible, to gather the basic amount of site-wide analytics.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)
Contract (Art 6 (1)(b)) – operating the Protocol and executing user-initiated transactions.
Legitimate interest (Art 6 (1)(f)) – protecting the Protocol against fraud and exploits.
Consent (Art 6 (1)(a)) – sending newsletters or responding to contact requests; you can withdraw consent at any time.
Legal obligation (Art 6 (1)(c)) – complying with sanctions or other mandatory laws.
4. How We Use the Information
To enable peer-to-program interactions on Solana.
To secure and maintain the Site and infrastructure.
To communicate with users who opt in to updates.
To enforce our Terms of Use and defend legal claims.
We never sell personal data.
5. Disclosure of Data
On-chain by design – all Solana transactions are public.
Service providers – cloud hosting and e-mail services under strict confidentiality and security commitments.
Legal compliance – when required by competent authorities.
Corporate events – if assets are transferred, the successor must honor this Policy.
We do not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the California CPRA.
6. Retention
On-chain data persist indefinitely.
Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
Voluntary contact data are erased when you unsubscribe or 12 months after our last interaction, whichever is sooner.
7. Security
We employ TLS encryption, principle-of-least-privilege access controls, automated threat detection, and extensive smart-contract audits. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we follow industry best practices.
8. Your Rights
On-chain data persist indefinitely.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR) - Access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, port, withdraw consent, complain to a supervisory authority.
California (CPRA) - Know / access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing (not applicable here), limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (not collected), non-discrimination.
Other U.S. states - Similar rights to California; we honour them to the extent required.
How to exercise your rights
Send an e-mail to wattsup@watt.si containing (a) the type of request (e.g., “Access request”) and (b) a signed message from the Solana wallet address concerned (or equivalent proof of control). We will confirm receipt within 10 days and respond substantively within the period required by applicable law (e.g., 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CPRA).
9. Children
The Protocol and Site are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly process their data. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information.
10. Changes
We may amend this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Site and our official social channels at least 7 days before taking effect.

Watt.si provides information and resources about the fundamentals of the decentralized non-custodial universal staking protocol known as the Watt Protocol, which consists of permissionless, self-executing smart contracts (on-chain programs) deployed on the Solana public blockchain. The Power Labs Inc. does not hold or control user assets and does not control or operate any version of the Watt Protocol on any blockchain network. All content is educational and should not be considered financial advice. Evaluate the risks and conduct your own independent research before using the Watt Protocol.
